Hm... so that prius motor is running at a voltage WAY out of the realm of any DIY project i've ever seen. I figured they'd use a 240v motor since their pack voltage is around there. So that at least proves that stepping up is a reasonable option (so a couple batts could be used to run a 120v motor, for example). Thanks, you can google things for me any time (at work, just making short responses, limited time at home to google things, mostly just interested in the title topic, not the prius)
