I highly doubt the Tata vehicle will be sold here in the US. If memory serves it is an India production vehicle... will have to dig to research that later.
I have to laugh at all the folks that grab a Toyota Prius, and then drive down the highway doing 80+mph and then whine that they are not getting the expected fuel economy. Hello dumb@$$.
How many others find the lack of good fuel economy to be sad? Come on, a vehicle like the Toyota Yaris - at first glance at the size and layout, in my mind it should be able to compete with Geo Metro's on the FE side of things... but nope, not even close. Chevy Malibu hybrid - sadly understated FE numbers, and from what I can tell you really have to work to get the great numbers that I saw on the one that the owner let me look at.
Chevy Cobalt XFE - come on, the Cobalt gets lousy mileage for what it is, and the XFE is only expected to get 2mpg better? grrrrrrr...
