compression for a 1990 Geo Metro 3 cylinder w/standard transmission

Hey everybody. What is maximum compression for a 3 cylinder Geo Metro? I've heard that is should be at least at or above 120, but what is "perfect" compression? 150 or higher? And at what point will the car start to crap out....when a cylinder valve hits 90 or something?

Just curious. I'm trying to learn more about what I drive. Thanks.

David
