Nope, there's only one definition: the rest are either wrong, or have never encountered a real sports car.

Real sports cars? The MG-TC was one. So were the MGA & MGB, Austin-Healeys, the XK-type Jaguars. The Mazda Miata is one. So were the '57 & earlier T-Bird & Corvette.

Sports cars aren't for drag racing - straight lines are not what they're about. To understand a sports car, you need to drive one along the Coast Highway in California, around the Lake District in England, or any number of roads in Switzerland & northern Italy.
