yeah I decided to let it go, I plan on being the final owner and I don't really need it. I can use the GPS for speed and add up the miles when I need to know from it's 'tracking unit' (hidden phone). see
http://crudehacks.com it's the first hack I put up. fortunately I know from the last owner's records exactly what miles it had when, and it all adds up. they put on new tires at 107,000 miles and show little wear at 109,000. The speedo guage was just starting to break when I bought it.
also I put in an alarm with a pager, left out the siren and hid it very well. if it gets broken into, stolen, I want to catch them in the act. All sirens do is annoy people and tell the thief to run away. I'd rather they stick around and get caught.
