I ran a RWD car with rear toe-out on the street for a while. It was, ummm... "interesting". I was always chasing the tail end of the car in corners! The rear would develop quite a slip angle pretty easily--it was fun to toss the car around that way, but I spent too many mental cycles keeping the car from spinning and not enough on all the other "driving" tasks!

Not to mention the fact that the tires had to be replaced pretty quickly.
