Another issue with computer vs receipts. I traveled 372.2 miles, and filled 6.39 gallons. This makes 58.247 Mpg, but the computer claims 48mpg, which would’ve been 7.754 gallons. This doesn’t seem possible, since my tank wasn’t that empty. Weird ****. |

Discrepancy between Prius computer and the receipt. Computer says 72 MPG, but trip miles and gallons of gas equals 67 MPG. I would expect the opposite, where gas receipt shows higher miles due to ignoring electrical aspect, so like 80 MPG, but the Prius would say 72 to account for however many kWh we used.
Adjusted the gallons of gas from 7.548 to 7.051 to match the computer’s 72 MPG, since I don’t know how reliable the auto-off pump mechanism is at gas station. Need to research. |
