#45. I had to charge in two sessions. I charged until bed time and then stopped the session by changing the setting to departure mode for a 7:15 AM charging finish to 90%. The car took 36.14 kWh but I only need 31 kWh to replace the energy to 80%. The ODO read 15,647 miles.

#44. We drove to Deming to test out the DC Rapid Charging at the Walmart there again after the dealership uploaded a new charging protocol software suite. It worked and we fast charged the car to 80%. Since we started out in the morning with a 95% battery I am using the car information here. The ODO read 15,525 miles. The Rapid Charger charged us $4.16 v the $2.73 for charging at home but I was on a guest plan for the time being.

I figured out that 54 kWh weighs 2.1319 / 100,000 Th of a gram which is 100% to 10% of battery in my Chevy Bolt. This is of course easier to transmit over wires than gasoline is to transport by truck, pipeline, rail, or ship.

#30. We picked up our tag at Bravo in Las Cruces and then we drove to Deming, NM to check out the Electrify America charging point at the Walmart there. After trying three separate DC Fast Chargers each of them would not get past the communications protocol when they shut off and said they were fully charged. This reset my dash read out of course. We were on the phone with a tech who rebooted the machines to no effect. We drove home on Hwy 26 after having traveled to Deming via I-10. I had to add two screens together to get the totals. Our Odo reads 13,772 miles.
