Noticing really wacky fuel level gauge, may look into replacing sender. Started off to a really good tank, then the wife and myself went on a vacation, so lots of intown stop and go. Lots (say 170miles) of high speed interstate travel @
75mph, with A/C on. Extra weight in car. Im happy with my
600$ purchace, poopsie has been very reliable, needs tires soon. I wish there was a way to be sure of the amount of fuel that is used on fill up.

Attempt to break into 50 mpg area,I use it to Commute, work and back, Hot Wife drove 2 days total of 2 round trips. She is nice and uses the A/C for our kids while driving. However she drives nice and slow and will do some "pulse&glide".
I think my the fuel level sender may be on the fritz due the the inacurate Empty level, Upon "fill-up" gauge indicated quite empty, however vehicle only took 6.506 gal. I'm using the same pump as a routine and same # of "clicks".
I'm very happy about current mpg!

Very serious attempt at best to date mpg. Removed pass side mirror, and antenna, tires set to 43 psi, installed Vac gauge. Commuter car to work and back 40 miles round trip. Traveled on interstate 2 times, with A/C on. Normal days no A/C, windows up, top speed 55 mph. Lots of EOC, P&G.
