The only variables for this tank is fresh oil and filter , and the tires have been up to 42 psi. Traffic in the area is actually heavier with the back to school component. Note: Oil is Mobil 1 0W20. |

Light traffic. Increased tire pressure to 42 psi. Truck is a bit squirrelly at 60 mph. That is to say, although I am not much of a drinker, an officer of the law might be concerned with my highway lane usage, especially in the rain. I think that I will max out tire pressure at 42 psi. |

This is my record for miles per tank(569). I am shooting for 600 miles per tank. I seem to get the best gas mileage on Sunoco. Amoco is good, but seems to not do quite as well Sunoco. I've got to eek out another 2 mpg to get to 600 mpt. |

The truck seems to do better in HOT weather. I noticed a trend that when the intake air temp is above 100F the mileage goes up a bit. I have been paying more attention to coasting, living in South Carolina I have a lot of opportunity. |

It's been a long time...about 6 months. I've been out of commision with broken/dislocated shoulder, and multiple surgeries for this. I've changed nothing on the truck this year, due to more than $12k in medical bills. Yes, that is with insurance. I hope to make some mods soon. |

No major changes this time. I expect my overall mileage to be going down slightly, as I am carrying a 200 lb. car pooler. On the other hand, that brings my passenger miles per gallon up to about 65 pmpg. |

Some improvement due to use of ScanGaugeII. Tire pressure was increased from 35 to 37 psi for this tank. Next tank tires are at 39, also smoothie hubcaps coming 8/29. Overall, the truck did pretty well since this tank included more in town miles, and moving some loads (washer&dryer, huge gas grill to and from party), than usual. Kudos to ScanGaugeII. |
