Very excited to see this jump in MPGs. I used the method of killing the engine down hills and also tried to incorporate shutting it off at red lights. I am learning the biggest principle of hypermiling is having patience. I can't wait to do some mods to the car. I have been reading tons on Ecomodder.com. Thanks for this site!

This last tank was weird. I had a couple of bad days in bumper to bumper traffic. Hopefully the next tank will be better. I want to break the 40 MPG barrier. I have read some hypermiling techniques and put them into use. I currently use the shut the engine going down hills and try not to travel faster than 55-60 MPH. It seems to be working great! I can't wait to try modding the car to get better aerodynamics.
