Marathon fillup RS 2.5 Intake resonator installed to quiet things down a little bit. Sounds better with the daily driver being very quiet now. Still cold with defrost usage as well.

Cold. Marathon 87 fillup. Car had check engine light. I believe it can occasionally flood on startup from a short stop? Leaky injectors? Either way the car needs some service overall. Bad front cam and crank seals, will do oil pump seals at same time.

Meijer 87 octane. Temps have dropped, daytime shortened. Finally got the car back on the road! Still burning oil though. That will be next task. Then more maintenance, then small/free additions to help the performance and mostly mileage.

Installed 2000 RS Intake Box (top and bottom) about 3/4 tank through. Stock resonator was removed. The diameter of intake into the fender wall is much bigger now Makes pushing pedal more fun due to more grumble of course...

At the initial startup of this new tank of fuel, the car threw a code. Most likely a dirty MAF if i have to guess. We shall see soon.

The engine oil leak has slowed considerably due to auto-rx i believe. The transmission now has a small amount in it in anticipation of a flush and fill.

Bigger wheels in diameter and tread width put on. Should actually be a negative affect on mileage. But, more accurate distance numbers due to GPS reading say stock speedo is off.

I am not sure if this is accurate as it is the trip odometer mileage from previous owner, but i reckon it may be close.

The journey starts with improving the car to my liking while improving mileage as well to make the car as a suitable long travel vehicle and fun vehicle.
