MPGuino made it a whole tank without resetting. This has been a big problem. Guino showed 9.02 gallons, pump showed 9.1 gallons. Not too bad for calibration.

Odometer and pump, adjusted 3.5% for vx wheels. Somehting is weird because guino showed 8 gallons used on this tank and last tank. However, last tank showed ~7 gallons at pump and this tank showed ~9 gallons at the pump, how can I be off 2 gallons when filling?

Didn't log fuel over the winter, got out of the habit. I have now installed MPGuino and have a new zest to hit high MPGs. I drove to get best instant MPG on guino. Calibration is still off a little. The weather was not best for this tank so expect more this summer. Figured MPG the old way, odometer minus 3.5% for vx wheels. Guino only looks to be off by 9% on this tank, but I will not adjust it until two tanks are done.

Adjusted 3.5% for vx wheels. UPDATE: thermostat was indeed bad and leaking. New thermostat holds temp steady on long downhill coasts. Lean burn kicks in much more now when ambient temps are below 60 degrees, would never kick in before unless above 60 degrees. Thermostat had been bad since I bought the car. Finger crossed for record MPG on the next few tanks!!

Adjusted 3.5% for VX wheels, weather has been cold and rainy, high winds. I believe my thermostat is not closing which is causing the car to take a long time to warm up and it won't stay warmed up when gliding with engine on. Bought a new thermostat and will install shortly.

I decided to only adjust the trip mileage by 3.5% to account for the VX wheels and 175/70R13 tires like the calculator shows me. That will keep my numbers the same as before instead of getting into the issue of the mileage always being off with the stock size tires. So numbers in the future should correlate correctly to my previous fuel logs. This trip mileage was adjusted 3.5% (odometer read 396)

After this refill I swapped to the VX wheels and 175/70R13 tires. It looks like my speedo has always been off by 6% with the factory 14" tires (185/65R14). The speedo was reading high so all of my previous tanks including this one should really be adjusted down by 6%. The VX wheels now add another 3.5% change, so tanks in the future are going to need an adjustment somehwere in the 9% range to really be accurate or a 3.5% change to match up with previous measurements. Now I know why people use a GPS to get more accurate mileage info.
