I forgot the mileage, but I remember the mpg being around 27 when I calc'd it at the pump, and I vaugely remember the trip meter being at 254-256 point something....

First of all, I HAD to stop for fuel at this price, so I was above a quarter tank, so it did have room to improve !

I really think my gas tank has some sort of back flow valve which automatically cuts at 10.4 gal or there abouts because its a very common number I am seeing when I fill up.
I really really need to get a scanguage.
I had my stock airfilter back in for the drive home today, don't think that could have made the difference on the drive to the gas station.
K+N is sitting in the garage re-oiled and will be going in asap.

This tank was split, I had to add two gallons at a service station because I didn't like thier $2.70 price. Then add the rest at my usual place (grocery store discounts FTW.)

I quickly learned here how a turbo can suck your mpg numbers down fast I used it a few times to get on the freeway quicker than I probably needed.
I saw the result within the first quarter tank.
Not a great tank from an efficiency pov. :-|

New route on the way home from work, get off the freeway at a specific exit and pulse+glide from 65-50 as much as possible.
Allows better coasting towards the final intersection lights also. I hope this tank isn't a fluke, when refilling I attempted to top off 3 times, as it stopped at 9.8, and I knew that couldn't be right.

I think this tank may have been a fluke... as sometimes the pump won't let me top off, and I know there is more space in the tank.
