I thought I'd blown the head gasket, again. But, it turned out the radiator had gone to mush and the spark plug wires had a open connection even though it looked Ok.

Seem's to be running Ok, given it's at 252,000 miles. I really need to get a new engine in this poor car.

Istill have the bike rack on the back. I think my previous tank was filled on a slope with the tank access on the low side. I think this causes a less filling fill. This tank was done, fill from high side

Well I really like the improved handling and ride of my car, since I added Acura springs in the rear. I had thought I might be getting better mileage but this tank looks like either my lead foot or winter gas or some combination are mucking it up.

Well, I finally finished adding heavier duty springs. I used front springs from an Acura, which fit exactly, but which are about 20% larger in the material diameter. It largely removed the rear-squats that my car looked like it was doing before.

I think, the infamous buttometer says that I am getting a little better mileage. This tank was past 200 miles when I finally got the passenger side done.

The car rides/drives a whole bunch nicer.

For winter, this tank was signifcantly higher than my last tank, which isn't recorded.

Oil was down by a quart and a half. I don't know if this is a funtion of a new problem, or just negligence on my part. Car seems to be running fine.

Allright, this is the other side of that last tank of gas. This tank, the car was more on level ground, when I filled it. The last tank, the fill side was downhill, at a slight slope, maybe 10 degrees. It clearly had an effect on how much gas I could put into the tank.

I think my car is still pumping a little bit of coolant and it seems to be using a lot of oil. I'm afraid that I must have broken a ring and who knows what else, when I overheated this last time.

I think I will start saving some money, to purchase a used engine to put in.

This tank I still have the mud flaps off, the rear window air deflector off. When I filled up, the station I was at, the fill tube was on the low side, so I believe that gave me a lower number of gallons than I would have expected.

This tank was all around town. I've been backing off the timing, trying to get to a point where it doesn't ping when I'm under light acceleration.

This tank was run around. I have removed my mud flaps and my rear window air deflector. The car seems to coast substantially farther, according to my buttometer. The fill before this tank was by Laura and I think it may have been short because she had my car, while I was working on hers.

I have removed my mud flaps, the rear window air deflector and rear wiper. I built a replacement for the air deflector and it was installed for part of this tank. I removed it because it was coming loose. I also was trying to adjust by timing by retarding the timing until it did not ping on acceleration.

The deflector shape changed, after I had cast it using epoxy and fiberglass. I'm unsure what direction to go on the deflector, now.
