...XD worst ever since I started hypermiling. I guess I'm getting a bit lazy and it might be also because I put my roof rack back on. However, when I started the rack was on and I was hitting 400 per tank. I also am not doing as much highway driving as I used to.

I'll try to get my act together this time around!!

Also I'm thinking about a couple mods I might want to attempt: lower air block and air dam. The problem is not only do I want my car to look as stock as possible with the mods, I also want it to be easily removable, especially when I get it serviced.

I'll be sure to post anything I successfully come up with.

Got lost last few miles in a residential area, of all places, and almost ran out of gas...filled up at the first gas station I spotted...yes, $3.25/gallon hurts XD...This will probably be hard to replicate, I drove mostly freeway, including a 250mileish trip on tuesday which included unavoidable super steep incline and declines and hard braking.

First 1/3 tank was pretty slow with a lot of city driving, followed by a highway trip on a very hot day which required A/C. I would have sparingly used the A/C, but another friend was riding in the back and isn't used to the heat. Since then I removed my roof rack and thoroughly cleaned and detailed my car. I went on a 2hour back and forth trip to some festival for the remaining 2/3 of my tank. I don't know if the fact that the last 2/3 was 99% highway helped boost my MPG or if it was the fact that I removed my roof rack. Ill leave my roof rack off for the next tank and observe.

First 2/3 of my tank went well. I started taking an alternate route to my girlfriends place. The alternate route is 5 miles/minutes further/longer but is a smoother ride with less breaking. Things I need to work on include predicting lights and my stopping techniques. The last 1/3 of my tank was not really successful as I drove my friends around and didn't want them to feel impatient with my driving XD. I'm going to remove my mudflaps for my next tank and see how that goes. I'll also be getting window tint next Monday-hopefully it'll cool down my car nicely...and look cool =P
