Pure highway, 60 mph, stiff headwind half the time, good tailwind second half. About 40-50 degrees out. Stoked to see such good mileage on a 259 mile run!
Folded in passenger mirror for 2nd half. Only one pizza pan on. Will put the others back on soon. I hope with the pans, the mirror in the whole way, 80 degrees, no wind, 50 mph, will yield over 50 mpg.

Mostly city, cold temps, when HWY then going 70 mph, lots of wind when on hwy, so the low score was anticipated.

1/2 city, very cold temps, so I'm happy with this. This city, Gloucester MA, is good for coasting, but has a lot of potholes.

95% HWY, cold temps, mirrors out, no hubcaps, 60-65 mph. Glad to see the good mileage again. Still makes me think I can hit 45 easily pure highway at 55 mph. All the moon caps have either flown off the tires or been stolen. Gonna put the pizza pans back on sometime, probably after winter.

Pure HWY, 55-65, 45 degrees, small traffic jams. Not ideal conditions, but a good test run of how Odd is performing on the hwy. I think without the stops, warmer air temps, sans girl in shotgun, folded mirrors, I think 45 mpg would be in order. But I'm just glad to break the 40 mark again, it's been awhile. Also, the pizza pans are off on the rear two wheels.

Took the scenic route through towns with stoplights, stop signs, etc. for 2 hours. Then got on the freeway, stiff head wind! Kept checking flags, and yep, head wind all day. After all these low numbers, I can't wait to see something in the 40s again.

Cross-country, huge load, grill block on for half the tank, second day was really windy (cross-wind), 60, rainy. I Think the lights and wipers going hard hurt along with the wind and construction and frequent tolls.

Still huge load, even added to it. (Maybe 600-800 pounds?) 65-75 mph, removed grill block because it was hot out with huge load, driving at sea level now. Depressing to see such low mpg. We'll see how she does without a load though and with tires maxed out again. (They're at 40, max is 44).

Pure HWY test. Meticulous in my filling and keeping it from 45 mph to 65 mph (coasting downhill). Able to coast uphill, turn around without gas, and go downhill without gas, going 65 mph to regain speed on this loop. A little windy, a cross-wind in certain areas too which only debilitates, noticed pass. side mirror was opened half-way through, ran the cooling fan because it was hot until I used a newspaper to block that window. Other than that, it was a pretty ideal run, and hitting 60 mpg twice on the same run removes further skepticism (on my part!) from that first run. I really believe this is accurate though, and think high altitude plays a role, along with the 2.3 L engine (and of course all the mods).

Some city miles dragged my mpg down a bit on this small fill-up. Pizza pan's are on. I taped a mirror on the inside so both outside mirrors are folded in. Trying not to use any electricity either for fans/lights/music. I am torn: want to just do 5 hours on the hwy to see what I get, but feel hypocritical about it because the whole point is to save gas.
Still getting pranked, a gallon at a time, but I can tell when that is. They always show up in the 100-200mpg range because I fill it up quickly after that. When I get an oil change I'm 1,500 miles overdue for I hope to see another mpg increase. The boattail should be done next week. Hope to get mid 50s HWY then.
