Missed a lot of fill ups, but slowly working my way up the MPG chart. Finally logged an almost 800km tank. 788km before i had to fill up, but thanks to the crappy OEM guage i still had over 7L of fuel left in the tank, thats an easy 800+ tank.
Improvements are primarily in changing the commute type from city traffic + highway, to country travelling with 70km/h speeds and very few stops...lots of hills with good gliding opportunities.
also, i've stopped engine off coasting or turning off the engine at stop lights. the open loop on the maxima stays on for 4 min after shut down....also if turning off the engine while driving and restarting it while moving causes the UltraGuage to go wonky reading 999.99 on anything less than firm acceleration.
