Removed the airdam and the factory deflector assembly below the radiator.
created a smooth transition between the forward most part of the bumper and the belly pan. closed off all but 14" or so of the lower air entry on the bumper. Reinstalled the factory license plate mount. The sides of the front transition and the bumper leave the tires more exposed. More can can be done here with more time.....still designing.
Changed the oil/filter and trans fluid/filter. Amsoil in both. 0w20 and low viscocity ATF. |

Ultra Gauge read 34.0 avg, but the car battery had died unexplicably and the avg may be off some.??
Still, I think this means the UG needs a bit more calibration. Hard to wait for the miles to click by.
I started some type of P&G for these and got UG readings of 35 on the commute. I would speed up to 5 t0 7 over and drive gently at about 4% throttle until just under speed limit. Tried my best not to piss anyone off. Kind of surprised how often people just cruised behind me. I wonder if they were playing the mileage game too. |
