Short jaunts to the fire station, short city trips, did not help fuel milage on this tank. For some reason the 4.3's fuel milage takes a dive in the winter months, I have rarely on this tank run it at idle to warm up for than a few minutes. |

Mostly city again on this tank with one 76 mile highway trip. Weather has been in the mid 70's during the day, and mid 40's to 50 during the overnights. I believe the highway trip helped in boosting my over all tank milage. |

This go around I have added a new exhaust system. I upgraded the stock cat back to a DynoMax VT variable muffler, and 2.5" Gibson stainless rear section. While it is only one tank, I have noticed a slight improvement in throttle response.
This tank was again a lot of short city runs, and no highway miles. A number of short cold start runs to the fire station, I'm still impressed with the milage so far even with this type of driving. |
