Also had this gas in the tank for A LONG TIME. long enough that my car actually started to run bad, because it had rained almost every day, and i believe somehow water was getting into the fuel lines causing it to miss. |

This was my test tank to and from work. I raised that hatch as close to aerodynamically as possible. Then drove to archbold(where i work) and back, and made my usual stops. the only difference was that the return trip is usually at night, so i have my headlights on, which i did not do on the way back. (forgot)
Also, this is with NO pulse and glide on the highway, only in town. Also did a small amount of engine braking in town because my brakes are getting bad.

Decided to start filling up every monday before I go to work, and at the end of every week. That way i will be able to start finding the best way to get to and from work for better MPG. the reason i fill on monday is so that any driving over the weekend, or evaporation from sitting, is not effecting the numbers. This tank was the monday feel from weekend driving. |

ran out of gas 1 mile from station. Put about .4 gallons in that i had with me. Since i am not positive, this is an estimate on the actual fuel used. it could be +-.2 gallons
On the plus side, the rear skirts are still on with only duct tape, but just. Need to redo them soon.

P&G to work every day, 27 miles one way. But then on the way home, at night my alternator squeals and I have to drive like a normal person to keep it from doing so. Most of the first 400 or so of this tank, i had the wipers off to see if it would help. Not sure if it did. |
