Snow finally came on Dec. 28th. I drove the car in very slippery snow on Dec. 28th and it handles great! After Dec. 28th trip - I did not charge it up, and am leaving it discharged at about 50% State of charge (107 volts) while it waits for clear roads - I don't want to ruin my beautiful little electric with the road salt. Also battery heating and running electric heater hurt my effective range. Also, I'm not confident I can have good enough defrosting of windshield on blizzardy days to come... |
