Its flipping cold, so its been a while since I rode this thing. So I don't know what kind of riding I did. I believe my little brother was riding the bike for most of this tank, so the bad mileage is his fault. Ran out of fuel in on position at around 216 km. Got a new rear sprocket and chain at the end of this tank, now running a 51T rear sprocket. Stock gearing is 17T/54T, so that is a 5.5% rpm reduction. Bike was started without being ridden. |

I discovered that my new ECU doesn't have a rev limiter this tank. Usually the rev limiter stops it at 18,500 RPM. I went up to 20,500 RPM before deciding that continuing is probably a terrible idea. Did not switch to reserve. |

Rode the bike a lot more like I drive the accord. Short shifted when traffic was accelerating slowly, tucked a lot, not much 18000 rpm this tank, and when it was used, it went to contribute to useful momentum. Did lots of clutch in coasting and pulse and glide, shut off engine for stops. Tank MAY have not been completely filled, so give or take 2 mpg or so. Did not switch to reserve. |

Missed a few tanks before this. Finally got the choke working and adjusted the pilot jets (all four of them) slightly leaner, but I fear I may have an air leak somewhere. The idle adjuster doesn't really do much anymore. Shut down engine at red lights, P&G'ed efficiently, accelerated with even more throttle than usual to be in a good BSFC zone, not a whole lot of redline acceleration this tank. |
