This car has been hobbled together by so many different cars at this point it's not funny. I've had to replace a lot of body parts from animal impacts to the sides and front (Deer and such) A previous owner did some engine modifications like putting the 1.6l SI fuel system and ecu on the motor so that's probably hurting my mpg but no clue.
Why I went with an AGM battery over a deep cycle.
It was lightweight and cost only $70. Draw back is battery life is crazy short, I'm talking don't use the car at all while not running short. I kept a jump start battery in the car at all times just in case, but decided to wire it in permanently for convenience so if I need to use the car while it's off, like engine off coasting for example, I just hit the button on the jump start battery to keep the car from dying. Total weight of both batteries is only 15 pounds, and I can jump start my car with the push of a button.
