This vehicle has always been an electric vehicle. It was delivered as a non-powered glider to Jet Industries in Texas from Ford in 1981. It was then completed as an electric car, shipped to Sound Ford in Renton, WA, and sold to it's original owner for $14,966 plus tax and license. It was last licensed, prior to my purchasing it, in 1991. Apparently a controller problem sidelined it. I am making it road worthy again with new batteries, controller, cables, tires, etc. The vehilce has 5,182 miles on it.
