This is a work truck for my native landscaping / ecological consulting company Good Oak Ecological Services. Having switch from a Chevy Prizm that literally got twice as far on a tank of gas as this truck does I am interested in doing everything I can go conserve petroleum. My goal is a 33% improvement in fuel economy (unloaded).
Build Thread:
Current Mods:
ScanGuage, removed step boards, removed mud flaps, removedbug deflector, cover over air fog lamp holes in bumper, plexiglass wheel discs, partial grill block, Lakeland cap, & working to improve driving habits.
Planned Mods:
Tires with lower rolling resistance, fill gap between truck body & cap,, possibly: rear wheel skirts, a belly pan, perhaps some "performance" mods like cold air intake, exhaust, and SuperChip if they can help fuel mileage, and hopefully someday, an AeroCap.
