Added Drawtite hitch to car, 31 extra pounds to carry but as GREAT as the Fit is for it's cargo room and versatility... pulling a 5x8 trailer (from Lowes) can't be beat! Can haul plywood, doors, furniture, etc. Sold the pickup and the van... now the Fit does it ALL for about $600.00 of parts!
Planned Mods:
Time will tell... driving style adjustments mostly. In my youth I watched RPM... now it GPM! May try the "surge and coast" techniques on flat roads. With the hills around here I can put it in neutral and coast quite a bit and it does seem to add up over time to 1-3 mpg average on a tank... more to follow.
