Wanted a cheap basic car with no frills that was good on gas. Manual, AM/FM radio, no air, no pw, no pdl. Simple, reliable and blue.
And it had to be big enough to carry all my DJ gear, back in tha day.
Now it carries lumber. And concrete. And drywall. And plumbing. And groceries. And the boy. And on very rare occasions, the wife.

Planned Mods:
Short of wheel skirts, side skirts, mirror delete, full belly pan, and a kamm back or full boat tail, I'm not sure what's left? Maybe smooth wheel covers over my hubcap covered steel wheels. I suppose I could delete my alternator and power steering. Put some 175/70's on it? After this last tank I'm starting to think it's going to be REALLY hard to hit 70 mpg imperial without some serious commitment.
