This is an extraordinary car, which receives a lot of love and gives back even more in return. It's now past 290 000 km.
Sadly, in early September the car encountered severe over-heating problems when the pressure-valve in the cooling system failed. It is being lovingly, albeit slowly, repaired as time permits.

I could not find any official consumption data. A variety of values can be found on the Internet ranging from 5.8 to 6.2 L/100km. I picked 6 (or 39.2 MPG US) as a tentative EPACombined value. Previous owner reported 7 L/100km.

The engine is a turbocharged, 90 horsepower 4-piston straight diesel. It's an indirect injection (mechanical and through pre-chambers), which leaves the (lucky) driver with plenty of thinking about the best way to use this fantastic machine.
