4 Cylindar 2.0, 4 speed automatic transmission.
Seller suggested the car averaged 30MPG...
I am very dissapointed. Not even close!
I drive 75% highway with this car. It averages 25-26 if you take it easy. If you drive 60MPH and draft you might hit 30.
The 4 speed transmission SUCKS, and shifts roughly even after a full transmission flush and fill. (Which VW says you never have to do.) Everyone else I've met with the same transmission has the same issues. Yuck.
Hits top gear at 58 - 60MPH, and anything faster than that is WAY less fuel economy. It actually gets BETTER fuel economy when driving around town than it does when setting the cruise to 72 on the highway.
