I plan to make a good balance between a mild street motor and a fuel efficient one, because this will be my daily driver. I plan to put in electronic ignition, fabricated headers (3 to 1, a pair) and true dual exhaust, maybe some high compression pistons, 3 1 barrel carbs, hopefully fuel injection in the near future. Cold air intake (probably K&N) and then either a T5 transmission from a Fox III Mustang (5 speed manual) or at least a 4 speed with a very large overdrive. I plan to make 210 horsepower at the wheels while making considerably good mileage (in the 20's-30's). I've seen a similar setup, though, that puts out 447 hp. and 502 ft-lbs. of torque, and because of the extremely large overdrive in the T5 and torque-y nature of an Inline 6, that gets 35 mpg at 70 mph.
