Bought this car new in April 2008. I'm intentionally driving "like a normal American" for a few tanks, so I can have a base to improve from. I'll start driving more economically after I establish this base, probably about 5 or so tanks (1500-2000 miles). Truly a blast to drive. It may be hard to slow down in this car.

After almost 3 years of driving faster than normal, I've probably averaged about 23 mpg (slightly below epa). Started driving with efficiency in mind in February 2011. Definitely a noticeable difference. I'm about 10% above epa now, without any mods.

intentionally holding off on mods until I get 1 full tank on UG.
Planned Mods:
inflate tires to 40 psi (maybe higher, we'll see)
grill block
belly pan
lowering springs
always open to consider new ideas, but very hesitant to make a drastic cosmetic change for very small efficiency gain.
