Returning-to-factory-spec project. Fully rebuilt engine (not by choice, PO didn't service the cambelt and when that failed it destroyed the internals of the engine). Retaining the standard Renix engine management system as it is actually really very good when it's working properly. So many of these cars were run with failed or failing sensors which horribly impacts the fuel economy. The EPA say they have revised the FE figures accordingly as most of these vehicles (of about 2000 built) still running have over 100,000 miles on and internally are worn.

None other than the factory "upshift for better economy" warning light.
Planned Mods:
Making sure the car is in good tune, and learning how to adjust my driving style to bring the FE up.
