Yet another base model vehicle. 5 speed, 2wd, 4 cyl. Unlike the S10 it does have power brakes (not that it affects mpg) 3.58 rear end. has a bit of body 'weight reduction' (AKA rust)

Current Mods:
-spark timing advanced to +12* BTDC
-started grill-block. 1 slot at a time.
-Exhaust leaks upstream of the O2 sensor from cracked Y-pipe. Either this is causing the O2 sensor to read low constantly (or the sensors bad) but I'm still getting 25 mpg
-exhaust: glasspack to 2.25" no cat or anything
-wheels/tires: 205/75R14, +2%
-hitch, wiring
-front shocks for '90 chevy c1500 (shorter, way stiffer damping)
-rear air shocks for '84 toyota p/u (slightly shorter. not available for my year)
-new timing chain set and cover
-tach, volts, oil pressure, water temp gauges
Planned Mods:
-E-fan
-front lip
-new rims/tires
-.78 5th gear to replace current .86 5th gear.
Long term:
engine from the cressida and 3.07 rear end (2k rpm @ 65 mph)
