Highway is at 68 mpg because my front struts are shot and my car wobbles above the speed. City is at 53 because my clutch slips if I accelerate to fast but not fast enough. Getting these resaults with no mods and plenty of weight and with a slipping clutch (forcing me to drive like you guys do); makes me think this sight has plenty to offer.
Arizona car with vin starting "2" instead of "J". It's red. It's a two door.
Build Thread:
Current Mods:
Cut the belt to the A/C because I was too lazy to loosen while installing alternator belt. Removed headliner and installed shelving (minimal) in oversized headroom to keep items within the fuselage. Cut back seat to allow for storage space beneath while also allowing sterno heated pizza oven to lay flat.
Planned Mods:
Remove "spoiler" (or protuding lip) from top of back window. Internal windsheild antenna (since mine is already broken). 12" pizza pans for wheel covers seem cool since I deliver pizza. Might do a rear wheel cover if it's not to difficult. Won't go full boat, but that anti-spoiler (who cares if the wind throws you in the other lane during an ice storm) mod seems okay.
