Station wagoon with common rail turbodiesel living hard life on block of flats parking lot. The car was never tested so 49 MPG EPA rating is taken from wikipedia, not sure about it. Manufacturer says its combined 44 MPG (5,3 l/100 km) in NEDC.
Frontal area estimate based upon histogram measurement taken from car blueprint.
After I hit the road barrier had whole front bumper and radiator replaced (02/2013), since that i never managed to get pre-accident mileage.
flush cover for bucket style fog lights (first 2011 to 2013, than again 07/2015 to 01/2016), didn't withstand car wash. Slightly increased tire pressure (40 psi, 44 psi is sidewall max), upper grille block (winter time only), roof rails removed (08/2015), cargo windows covered with reflective foil (07/2015,summer time only)
Planned Mods:
depends on "wife approval factor". I think of:
LED DRL's, (partial) belly pan, flush wheel covers, removable wheel skirts, gaps and grooves filled with silicone seal (weatherproofing, aero is just added benefit).
