ScanGuage The key to my high mileage right now is two fold. I drive back roads on my 35 mile drive to and from work. It takes a little longer than just getting on the highway. This keeps me in the sweet spot for good gas mileage. The speed limits are 35, 45, and 55. The other reason this car gets good mileage is because it gets driven to work every day, and not much else. We use the other car for everything but my daily commute.
