Hi I recently bought 1997 Honda Civic Hx . I'm only averaging 30 mpg city 30 highway. The previous owner removed the air breather box / and its sensor is gone. I've looked to replace the box ,it's the first thing ripped off in the junk yards !! I've ordered the sensor so I'm hoping to be able to rig it back into the new cold air until i'm able to replace the original pieces.Finally got the check engine light off . Tracking mpg now seems much better ,half tank was getting 150 miles ,looks like I will reach @ least 200 miles on same gas !!!

Current mods ,full grill block. New tires.

Going to replace plugs wires and see how that does. Also considering lowering the car and or dropping with a body kit.
