Current Mods: Will have BT OBDlink with torque app, The car has a few Eco features already. Will neeed to find out how they function and how effective they are. In particular the air shutter.

Blockheater cable swapped out with one without thermostat. Intend to plug in cold soaked and determine time/ temperature curve. 1 Mar 15

Grill block installed vinyl covered plastic sheet just tiewrapped on for now. and only larger than the opening of the middle section 1 Mar 15, removed 01 June 15, reinstalled 11 Oct 15, 25575Km

Tire are inflated to 45 PSI 300KPa effective 1307 km 1 Mar 15

2177 switched to high test gasoline.

3968 kms, 16 Mar 15, removed the connection between intake filter box and resonator. the delta between outside air and IAT was only 4 degrees a highway cruzen.

6673 kms 03 Apr 15, Verified spark plug gap. and moved them open from .024 to .029 4 Mar 15, gapped to 035

6653 03 Apr 15 reinstalled air cleaner connection to stock

12308 tires inflated to 50.5 PSI 350 Kpa

12308 Amsoil engine oil wix filter installed, Amsoil syncromesh MFF 2.5 quarts installed

12592 spark plugs gapped out to 0.040

lower grill closed off in Nov 15, only small strip above it is open to the air. remove connection to intake resonator again.

32282 installed Denso IK20TT plugs gapped at 0.035" 24 Dec 15

removed fuse to ac clutch 26 Jan 16

Amsoil change, 36123Km 28 jan 16

Planned Mods: Block-heater? awaiting test

Grill block if required? other than engine managed air shutter, there is only an opening the size of licence plate left in center grill opening. upper grill is completely closed off by the trim.

over-inflate tires? done...

Air intake modification to allow warm air intake. the intake is located behind the closed off area of the middle grill opening. It seems to improve intake temperatures by at least 5 degrees Celsius.

might switch to high test for a few tanks to verify if there is value added for hill climbing and MPG. done....

considering lower grill block to reduce the cooling capability of the intercooler... done
