I have trained myself and the car to average 25 mpg all city driving very rarely up on highway. However when on beltway I am averaging 29.4. I have yet to break the 30 mpg threshold.
Update, I did finally break 30 mpg. I got 30.2 mpg hoorah. Made a lot of other drivers angry that morning.

Clean throttle body, new O2 sensors, new PVC valve, new Mass air flow sensor. Replaced factory air box/filter with K&N filter.
Replaced factory tires with 17 inch TOYO Proxes very low rolling resistance. Inflated tires to 45 PSI, 51 is maximum stated on sided walls.
It is a 5 speed manual, a lot of pulse and glide. Currently collecting gps route data to turn into energy usage computer program.
Planned Mods:
Rip out the gasoline engine and convert to all electric.
