10 Cars that refuse to Die

Just for fun...

10 cars allegedly having "exceptional -- sometimes surprising -- endurance
and value." Fuel efficiency is not a consideration. Trucks and full size SUVs
not included.

Before you visit the site, make a list -- caution, one is purely European --
and see how many you agree with.

Great list, I would add the Dodge Dart with the slant 6. You could not kill that car, I knew a few people who tried and failed.

Decent list, they were smart to show the LTD first; them and Town Cars are probably as close to automotive immortality as it gets.

Of course Tempos are pretty good too, until the rust monster gets 'em.

Legacy head-gaskets say no.

Accord automatics say no, too.

Otherwise, both good cars.

91-94 Sentras are awesome cars, except for the rust thing and the fact that they have the suspension travel of a skateboard. I still miss my 1.6 liter one, one of the best cars I've ever had.

I hear you on the 3rd gen Maxima's! Grandfather had one, sold it at 350k and 12 years of ownership just because. It still ran fine.
