What material is the spoiler made of?

Also, I've been wondering about my 94 S10, the headlights are recessed like yours. What would be a good material to cover them so that in effect, they'd be flush instead? I'm thinking that plain old acrylic plexiglas would scratch too easily and wind up not transparent in a couple of days.

The material is made for green-houses. A friend gave me a few left over pieces. its hollow with little channels going down it. Its not super ideal because its hard to make compound curves, but it was what I had on hand and free. I wondered the same thing about the plexiglass.
