Bumping this old thread.

Since I got the car 43k miles ago, I've averaged right at 44 mpg with lots of highway driving. My best tank has been 50 mpg, my worst tank was 33 mpg driving in a snowstorm for most of the tank. For 40-50 mile trips, the car will get 50+ mpg pretty easily if traffic permits.
