Do you also see a tandem Aptera? :)

Is it just me or do you also see a tandem Aptera?

Take away the wings and you have a damn fine body for a tandem Aptera..?
That LEANS!

https://www.shutterstock.com/search/...ntChanged=true

A Tandem has to lean: There's too much 'high weight' on the single back wheel not to.
Leaning is super stable and way faster around bends.
Besides; nothing puts a smile on your dial like a leaning vehicle Especially while basically lying on your back with your head up, in a car!

I'd want to lean or not with foot controls, kinda like leaning while standing, but with a foot on each wheel's axel.

This shows off the fun lean, but Id probably use a torsion bar inboard suspension.

It's here because that shape's about as aero as it gets and looks good!
I like the vids just for the pure shape of the fuselage. Pity we need wheels.
Some of them even seem to have a similar funny downward bend to the tail as an Aptera..?
That would beat Aptera's CdA.

I wonder if a sailplane maker might be persuaded to make one..?

Just a dream I thought I'd share.

First time?

Pix added in 2013. Apparently a Czechian effort.

Your post makes it sound like you've not heard of Arcimoto. Two reasons.

The FUV doesn't have the monocoque shell, but the loft line is spot on. Could you see one with a hand-beaten aluminum body?

Second, the Mean Lean Machine.

Arcimoto buys titling three-wheeler company to build electric tilting ...
The Eugene, Oregon-based Arcimoto has reached an agreement to buy Tilting Motor Works for approximately $10 million in a deal comprising a combination of cash and Arcimoto shares.
They never applied the technology to the FUV, but they showed the MLM concept with four electric motors one for each wheel and one for the pedals. Up on the kickstand it's an exercycle, down and it's a vehicle.

The bike trail at 0:53 is Alton Baker Park in Eugene. It's a blast on a regular bike.

I checked DDG and Tilting Motorworks still has a Facebook page but no website. Arcimoto is also in a dark mode since the bankruptcy.

I don't think there's a tadpole trike, tilting or not, I haven't seen.

But nothing built into a sailplane fuselage or even a mold of a sailplane fuselage.
There's the Acabion motorbike, of which there seem to be only 2 and both have never had their training wheels up.

In fact; every enclosed motorbike video in existence has one thing in common:
Not a breath of wind blowing in the background. Not a leaf moving... nothing.

Tilting Tadpole Trikes are better.
The Terracraft is nice, if not very aero.

' stretched Aptera '

NHTSA pedestrian and bicyclist safety issues my necessitate that the nose be modified. They're presently killing 8,000 a year in the USA.

This is a RC model, but it presents an interesting take on tadpole aerodynamics.

The aluminum tube tail boom reduces wetted area. The rear steering geometry is IMHO wrong, the pivot line is too far from the contact patch.

Airshaper showed him a feature called Design Advice, that netted a 24% improvement in CD!

It reminds me somewhat of Jocko Johnson's Triple Nickel streamliner.
