Drove record times on 4 separate commute legs! Basically driven @ Aerodynamic limit & friction limit of clutch & tires.
How many cars can you do that in and still get 40+!

Still haven't put the fender back on, but have the corner lamp back in place. I have been carrying more cargo and passengers during this tank, too. This fill-up was at a different station, which I noticed did NOT have the 10% ethanol stickers on the pumps. We'll see if this holds true for more BTUs and miles significantly. It is a national "Name Brand" station which I'll verify 100% petrol by the time I make the next posting.

Actual Fuel that ended in the tank is actually less than the amount purchased/entered. Fuel shut-off and burp of the air pocket up through the filler neck probably spilled 1-2 tenths down the side of the car and into a shameful puddle on the ground.

AeroDynamics have been compromized part way through this stint. The front fender and parking lamp have been peeled off by the back of a pickup truck. A Semi was stalled in the center lane just past a curve of the Interstate and I was cruising in the left lane; I went under the outer corner as the pickup slammed on his brakes (semi not in our lane!!), but the leaf-spring rear shackle snagged the corner by less than an inch. I have a new lamp on the way, but still looking for a cheap fender replacement. Again, threw a couple bucks at it near work to get it to the station with the cheap price to fill up.

Not driven for a few days, needed front brake pad replacement. Drilled rotors are lighter and stop without ever fading, but do wear about 20% faster. Still well worth the trade-off in improved braking, safety and confidence. Pads are readily available for $9.95, if you shop well. I found a full hardware set with springs, stainless sleeves, caliper grease and aluminum shims for $19.95 on ebay and only a couple extra bucks for shipping.

Found that I'd been running with slow leak in RF tire on previous. Repaired on 2010-02-10 and back to running @ top PSI again.

Was actually 2 fuel additions 1.225 gal near work @$2.439 ($3.00 worth) just to get me to my home side of town where I know the price is always cheaper, to finish my weekly-ish fill-up. That's why the fill amount is larger than the total capacity of the tank, if anyone questions the amount.
Note: My "Driving Style" is just this side of "maniac" and the 60% 'highway' is mostly stop & go, I tend to use the advantage of the small car and great vision to avoid as much of the stopping part.
