Hello - Ford Aspire Owner

Hello, I guess I'm new here. Hope I can enjoy it here.

Just a little picture of my car:

I got my windows tinted yesterday. :]

Got a nice stereo system put in a few weeks ago, and I've got this little thing scheduled for some body work and a new paint job in a couple weeks.

Welcome to EM!! Nice looking car, but keep that stereo turned down to save fuel. Electrical loads kill Gas mileage. Not trying to bust your chops first day here though. You will find a lot of tricks here to save fuel.

Hehe, thanks dude. I haven't noticed any diff in my mpg after I got the stereo in. I reset my trip meter everytime I fill my tank, and it usually comes out to 220-240 miles every fill up. (That's about 5-6 gallons a fill up) Always has. :]

But I'll test that out, see what happens when I don't run my stereo for a week.

Thanks for the welcoming.

I was thinking black. Just to go with that whole black on black theme with the windows.

And I live in Idaho City. :]

The darker the color, the more imperfections will show up. I suggest a "Battleship gray" color.

dark windows reduce the need for fuel robbing a/c - dark paint increases that need. My Aspire is white and we were thinking about a dark tint to further reduce any a/c use (10% difference in fuel consumption while in use is Best avoided!)
