Is it just me?

Or is it slow around here lately. Gas goes down and no one comes around. I am running out of stuff to read.

That's what i was thinking a couple of days ago. Last week a friend and I were going to car pool to a game and he was like,"We can take my Xterra (dreadful FE+mash the gas kinda driver), gas is back down to $2.50 so it doesn't matter."

AARGH!!

It does seem like ecomodder is a little deserted. I haven't posted much recently because of school.

I don't doubt that many people became ecomodders out of necessity. Hopefully some have continued ecodriving despite lower prices. Prices are now about what they were two years ago, but I now get 20% better mileage. I'm not surprised by the decrease in activity here.

It's prolly the gas prices and the winter setting it, that's how things go on these type of forums, I think,

It's up to all of us to keep it interesting, of course, by posting new and exciting stuff to yack about,

Please introduce yourself in Introductions section. A description of your motivations and your cars will help us to help you. Then register your cars in the EMgarage and finally fill-up the fuel log of each of your cars, this will show you how you are improving and will motivate you.

Have fun,

Denis.

OK Blame me

It's all my fault.
My computer crashed a couple weeks ago and I couldn't get to the web.
Now I have to concentrate on building a car for resale.
Need the money don'tcha know.
I could always post on the build of a car from junkyard food to streetworthy sellable vehicle.
I am planning on putting some mods on the car that the new owners won't know are there and that require no upkeep to retain their effectiveness.
Not sure if you guys think that would be post/thread worthy.
I'll make a new thread for it anyway. And you can give me ideas for stuff to mod on the car so I can sell it in it's most economical form.
Schultz

I came here from GS. (nice bunch of guys, didn't seem like my kind of place though)
I started striving for better FE in the mid 1990's. (Weren't you still in grade school then?)
Now I work on beating my last tank. (It's a personal best thing now)
Sometimes I do really well and sometimes I really don't. (Meh)
It is an ongoing process. We all are involved one way or another in this process. (Butterfly effect and all)
I'll see what tomorrow brings and worry about it then. (If I am allowed to awaken that day at all)

With the cold weather setting in, I got a hankerin' for some chili. So instead of working on the car this weekend, I made a pot of my 'Istanbul Express' chili. Mmmm. Maybe I should've taken pictures...

But I'm still around. Ain't goin' nowhere.

You should have, we could have discussed the aero quality and fuel usage of beans.

I'm staying too. I love this place, finally found a hobby that pays me.
