New 2015 Ford C Max Energi
Our new 2015 Ford C Max Energi which we purchased in El Paso Texas on Nov 30th, 2016. Car had 134 miles on it and 7/16th of a gas tank. We put 2.06 gallons in it today and the dealer is going to fill the gas tank tomorrow. Vehicle has a 14 gallon gas tank. We are going to start a new vehicle fuel log for this vehicle. We will get the charging cord tomorrow and can start electric car operation on Saturday morning December 3rd, 2016. More pictures to come.
The front of the vehicle. Don't have a frontal area to report to you all yet but we will get one.

The gas tank refueling port is on the passenger side rear while the electric charging port is on the drivers side front. See picture above.
The rear of the vehicle, it has a powered lift gate. We will get you a Cd and wake area soon also. Car so far is showing 40 mpg since I aired up the tires to 38 psi. We got a smoking deal on this car. We got 30% off plus $1,000 additional. We jumped on it because it was the car we were looking for and you don't often see $37K vehicles new discounted to $26K. We put $1K down.

Nice new wheels! I look forward to hearing how it works for you. I was quite excited when Ford initially came out with these. But, I was less enthused after the EPA rating was reduced... twice! Still, the EV range is still very attractive and would suite me just fine.

Energi
The car is just obeying the laws of physics. It is a well engineered car I think. When we picked it up all 4 tires were low in air pressure in the 20's psi. I inflated them to 38 psi and picked up some mpg right away. We are having it detailed today and are getting a full tank. Won't have much to report for a few weeks.

The official Cd is .30 for the Ford C Max Energi. I could not find a frontal area but I think it is around 30 sq ft. We got the car charged up last night and I drove it in electric only mode for a quarter mile for the first time. That is a real hoot.

Some of the Tesla guys are towing Airstreams and Bowlus travel trailers. What can we expect here?

The most you can expect from me is a rear carrier fitted to a receiver hitch. We are going to look into boat tailing the car at some juncture.

Enjoy! WE have a 2014 and love it, according to the car we are avg 96.8 mpg, not sure of mpge, but it was over 110 recently havent checked in a while.
Funny that you said your tires were super low, bc ours were aswell, i think they were at 22psi lol, have had them at 50 since we bought it in dec of last year, and not a single complaint, such great looking cars, inside and out!
