Dragula?
The concept reminds me of NeilBlanchard's CarBEN:

Getting the wheelchair between the taillights is only the first problem; getting it to a left- (or right-)front driving position is next. I think it would be easier to move the controls. ...except maybe the steering.

Wide enough for a coffin? The car is black, but no curtains.

No curtains means the passenger can see out.

But not if it is a Prius.
The OP car is a thing of utter beauty compared to a front loading Prius hearse.

AFAIK there is nothing preventing disabled drivers to do that. I have already watched a video featuring a Mexican part-time Uber driver who was born without his forearms and the lower part of the legs. Setting the cockpit back would be a matter of concern due to the visibility even if the driving position got raised.

Reverse image search on Google didn't do much good so I resorted to using parts of the file name P_Pod Prius.

We make the trunk for the Prius. You can put it on and take away as often as you want to. You can place bikes or sleep in the back of the Prius. Then when you are done you can put the original trunk back and store the P-pod.

We wanted to carry our bikes inside the car without loosing the rear seats. We created P-pod.

I thought it would have a rear deck extending at the rear overhang instead.

Pfft...just go for a rear mounted bike hitch. That thing is butt' uggo and I wonder how bad the drag is over stock.
