The grill is designed for that engine under worst case heating loads. If all you are doing is cruising down the highway with a minimal load on board and with air temps well below Death Valley summer standards, you can still get away with blocking off a lot of that radiator air flow. Just keep an eye on your coolant temps at times when you have to run your engine harder to get an idea exactly how much cooling air flow your engine actually needs. Excess radiator air cooling flow equals excess drag, which is why aircraft designers have long used use cowl flaps and radiator doors to tailor their cooling air flows to their actual cooling needs.

perhaps ford ranger people with a 4 banger might explore this concept. Of have all 8 spark plugs going off during the power stroke. I know during a run up on a plane there is an rpm drop running on one magneto... do a search on youtube about mods on Ford Rangers.

Why add to a 7-year old thread joedupont1?

Trying to get your post count up?

Bed cover is best bang for the buck.

My chin spoiler is 7-inches off the ground and that's enough for the snowfall we get in SE Michigan.
